Conditions of employment

Senior Executive Service (SES) conditions of employment are set out in Senior Executive Service – Employment Conditions Directive and in your contract of employment.

You are required to submit an SES officers and equivalent Declaration of Interests form to the Director-General within one month of your appointment, and thereafter on an annual basis. More information and the required forms are available from the Queensland Government website.

Under the Integrity Act 2009, an SES officer may, by written request, ask for the Integrity Commissioner's advice on an ethics or integrity issue. More information is available from the Integrity Commissioner.

Corporate Governance Framework

The Corporate Governance Framework outlines the principles, elements and mechanisms we use to support effective corporate governance.

Performance and development

The Public Service Commission provides executive performance and development frameworks to assist executives in managing their responsibilities, implementing the government's reform agenda, and meeting departmental commitments.

These frameworks use the balanced scorecard approach, with the following perspectives:

  • financial
  • stakeholder and outcome
  • internal business
  • learning and growth.
