New junior campus for Pallara State School

​The Queensland Government has delivered a new $42.3 million junior campus for Pallara State School.

The new Pallara State School Junior Campus (Prep and Year 1) opened on day 1, Term 1, Tuesday 27 January 2026.

The purpose-built campus has been designed to meet the needs of our growing community and provide Prep and Year 1 students with a strong and supportive start to their education.

The new junior campus is located at 282 Ritchie Road, Pallara. Years 2 to 6 will be located at the current Pallara State School site at 39 Ritchie Road.

The new campus includes:

  • two-storey building with 20 classrooms, 2 flexible learning spaces and student amenities
  • new administration building
  • new tuckshop
  • new amenities block
  • new facilities building, including storage and work areas for grounds staff
  • 2 new undercover playgrounds.
