Building Education

Teaching Queensland's Future

Teaching Queensland's Future will ensure we meet the increasing demand for teachers in our state school classrooms.

Department of Education International

Department of Education International (DEi) provides education opportunities, programs and experiences for students and teachers from Queensland and overseas.

Building Future Schools Fund

Under the $500 million five-year Building Future Schools Fund, two new state-of-the-art inner-city secondary colleges will be established on Brisbane’s north and south side; West End State School will be expanded; and master planning will be undertaken for all state schools within five kilometres of the CBD.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will provide people with disability with more choice and control over their disability supports.

The department is committed to a number of national partnerships to improve educational outcomes.
