Traffic and construction

Traffic and pedestrian movement around the site is managed in accordance with a traffic management plan approved by the Brisbane City Council to ensure the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles.

As part of the school’s construction, there are a number of changes that need to be made to the surrounding road network.

Road works are underway on Gladstone Road to construct a new signalised intersection at TJ Doyle Memorial Drive. These works have required temporary changes to cycle and pedestrian access along this section of Gladstone Road and people must adhere to the temporary signage and directions of traffic controllers.

Bus stop 16 on Gladstone Road (outbound) is currently unavailable during construction and will reopen during 2021. For more information on bus services, please visit Translink.

The majority of these road works are required to be undertaken at night to reduce the impact on traffic, in accordance with Brisbane City Council approvals. Motorists should expect minor delays while these works are carried out.

Catchment and enrolment

The local catchment map (PDF, 6.8MB) for the school was finalised in 2018 after community consultation.
