Queensland Ballet Academy at Kelvin Grove State College

The Queensland Government, through the Building Future Schools Fund, is investing in a state-of-the-art Queensland Ballet Academy at Kelvin Grove State College.

Upon completion in 2020, the new facility will enable students to complete their dance and academic studies on a single college campus, reducing travel time to off-site dance facilities.

The Queensland Ballet Academy at Kelvin Grove State College will be a one-of-a-kind Queensland state school facility, supporting student development to the highest artistic and technical standards and providing a secondary school pathway for talented young dancers to a professional career in ballet or dance.

The academy highlights Kelvin Grove State College's 30-year partnership with Queensland Ballet and will attract elite dance students from across Australia and overseas to train at the exceptional facility under the vibrant, creative direction of Queensland Ballet.
