New school opens for fast-growing Greenbank

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Queensland Government has delivered a new $75 million state school in the fast-growing area of Greenbank, Everleigh State School.

Everleigh State School is 1 of 3 new state schools in Queensland that welcomed students on day 1, Term 1, 2022.

The school features an administration block, resource centre, multipurpose hall, prep, junior and senior learning spaces, amenities, canteen covered areas and grounds.

With more than 200 prep to year 6 students enrolled, future stages planned for the school means it will eventually cater for up to 1,​400 students.

The new facility is part of a record-breaking over $1.3 billion the Queensland Government has invested in new schools since 2015.
