Families of students enrolled at a North Queensland state school affected by the flood event can claim $150 per student to replace personal educational items.
Personal education items include uniforms, stationery and curriculum resources such as exercise books, dictionaries, atlases, library bags and text books that have been damaged or lost at a school as a result of the flood event.
Between 11 February 2019 to 30 August 2019, parents and caregivers of students at the affected schools received an email confirming their child's EQ ID, this is required to make a claim. If you did not receive an email and do not have access to your child's EQ ID, please contact your school.
Online applications are now closed. Parents and caregivers can still apply for this important funding, by submitting claims directly through their school office using the EQ38 form.
Contact 1800 916 770 for further information in relation to the claim process or assistance to make a claim.
